Cruise Ships Finally Heading Towards Home Ports – After 15 months of the global cruise industry Covid-19 Pandemic lock-down, the cruise industry is ready to sail into and out of USA cruise ports, with the first cruise ships arriving in Miami, Florida.
Arriving at the American homeports is the first step towards getting ships inspected by the CDC and USCG and approval to sail with American cruise port passengers.
Currently, according to our Miami Cruise Ship Tracker, at Port of Miami are Carnival Conquest, MSC Armonia, MSC Meraviglia, Norwegian Jewel, Allure of the seas, and our California Cruise Ship Tracker shows both Princess Cruises’ ship Majestic Princess and Holland America Line’s Nieuw Amsterdam are sailing north towards San Diego, Seattle, Canada, and Alaska, currently positioned off the coast of Baja California, Mexico in a holding pattern.
Our 2021 goal is to follow the storms which will affect the ships at sea, as the storms form in the Atlantic off the coast of Africa and in the Caribbean, as well as storms in the Eastern Pacific, which may ultimately affect Hawaii. the blog will be updated throughout the season.
Our other Cruise Ship Wave websites, such as Cruise Port Schedules, Cruise Ship Deaths, Cruise Ship Missing, and our Cruise Ship Cameras will all be updated, as well, when more updated information is available. Schedules are all still up in the air, and we don’t expect new cruise port schedules until 2022.
