Serenity Park Robberies Common
Serenity Park robberies of cruise ship passengers has become common, as crime has increased in St Lucia.
A similar attack took place on Wednesday, January 16, when a couple were robbed by bandits who pointed a gun at the woman’s head and they complied giving the robbers their bag, phones, wallet, and other valuables around 1930 hours that evening, minutes after a bus driver was robbed and shot at New Village, Castries.
A Security Guard has called for tighter security at Serenity Park after masked bandits robbed the couple at the park. David Alfred who has been employed with the Park for the past two years says he has been a victim of similar crimes.
