Two Tropical Storms Vicente Willa Cabo San Lucas Mexico Bound – As the tropical weather season winds down to the final weeks, two storms in the Pacific Ocean have formed in the same area off Mexico. Tropical Storms Vincente will become part of Tropical Storm Willa near San Patricio, Mexico.

Tropical Storm Willa will become a hurricane  WSW of Manzanillo, Mexico. Hurricane Willa will become a major hurricane at Category 3, WSW of Tomatlán, Mexico. Though projected to slow down to Category 2, Hurricane Willa is projected to cause some issues for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Cruise Lines currently calling at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico are Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

On Tuesday, October 23, Eurodam and Seven Seas Mariner are scheduled to call at Cabo San Lucas followed by Ruby Princess on October 24, Norwegian Bliss on October 25, Norwegian Joy on October 26,  Carnival Splendor on October 29 and Norwegian Sun on Halloween October 31.

Hurricane Willa 120 Hour Projected Location

The 2018 Pacific hurricane season is tied with 1992 for the most active Pacific hurricane season on record in terms of accumulated cyclone energy. The season officially began on May 15 in the eastern Pacific, and on June 1 in the central Pacific; they will both end on November 30.

The first system formed on May 10, 2018. There have been nine major (category 3+) hurricanes so far, not counting Hurricane Willa.

The next three tropical storms will be names Xavier, Yolanda and Zeke if they form this season.
