On Sunday May 13, 2018, it was perfect Mother’s Day weather in Seattle, Washington as Norwegian Pearl left on a 7-day Alaskan cruise (see video below) . The weather saw a high of 82 °F and clear blue sky. The forecast weather for the rest of May in Seattle is going to be clear or partly sunny for the rest of the month with no chance of rain.
We were at Golden Gardens Park enjoying the beach as Norwegian Pearl sailed by. Earlier in the day we were at the Ballard Locks (Hiram M. Chittenden) near Fisherman’s Terminal in Salmon Bay. Between the heavy small vessel traffic at the Locks, the seals playing in Salmon Bay, it was a fabulous spring day for families celebrating Mom.
The Golden Gardens Park includes wetlands, beaches, hiking trails, and picnic and playground areas.
Norwegian Pearl will call at Juneau, Alaska tomorrow on Tuesday May 15 before calling at Skagway, Glacier National Park and Ketchikan. The ship will then call at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada before returning to Seattle next Sunday.

Other cruise ships sailing from Seattle this month are Zaandam, Eurodam, Ruby Princess, Celebrity Solstice, Norwegian Sun and Carnival Legend.
See the video below for the same cruise on Pearl last year.
