Carnival Cruise Lines cruise ship Carnival Legend arrived at Port Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday January 31, 2018 during a repositioning cruise to Australia. Two weeks after arrival in Australia, all hell broke loose aboard.

Carnival Legend was on a 10-day South Pacific Cruise when a brawl (see video below) involving dozens of passenger from two families broke out aboard on Friday, February 16 at approximately 12.45 am.

New South Wales (NSW) Police have confirmed they are investigating the fights, including in a nightclub and in an elevator the next day, and a big fight on the lido deck, which went on for about 45 minutes, while the cruise ship was about 130 miles off Jervis Bay, south of Sydney, Australia.

Australian Cruise Behavior Fueled By Alcohol – Drugs

On September 23, 2002, Dianne Brimble, 42, from Brisbane, Australia, a mother of three, was taking a 10-day cruise aboard the cruise ship Pacific Sky to Port Vila.  She’d gone on the cruise with her 12-year-old daughter, sister Alma Wood and niece Kari Ann Wood, and two families of friends.

On night one of the cruise, Mrs Brimble had a few rum and cokes with friends and headed to the ship’s disco to dance. She was last seen by staff leaving the club with a number of men. By 8.30 am she was found partially dressed in a cabin with four male body builder passengers, part of a group of eight men she had been seen dancing with til 4.20 am. She was found dead in the cabin #D182 belonging to the four men only 24 hours after boarding the ship. (read more at link below)
