As you travel to destinations around the world (see video below) this month, remember different people and societies celebrate for difference reasons in December. Christianity is the primary religion in only 33% of the world, Islam comprises 21% of the world population and Hinduism comprises 13%, with Secular, Nonreligious, Agnostic and Atheist comprising 14% of the world, so it’s not all about religion in December for many. Open your heart and mind to others and your travel experience will be greatly enhanced in 2017.
But, if you do celebrate Christmas, you will be delighted to see how it is celebrated around the world.
If you are taking a cruise for Christmas, there are some amazing cruise ships and ports in which to celebrate. In the Bahamas, Disney Wonder departs from Galveston, Texas and is calling at Castaway Cay on December 25.
In Nassau, both Carnival Liberty and Allure of the Seas will be calling at Nassau. Carnival Liberty departs from Port Canaveral, Florida on Christmas Eve and Allure of the Seas departs from Port Everglades on Christmas Eve.
Norwegian Breakaway also departs from Port Everglades on Christmas Eve and will be calling at Great Stirrup Cay on Christmas Day.
