Cruise Bruise belated memory, a Notable Cruise Industry Death of Brian Vincent Egan, 31, from Cooper City, Florida who passed away after a long illness on Monday, March 13, 2016. Egan was a vacation planner with Carnival Cruise for about 10 years, who loved sharing many happy times with his co-workers and some of his best friends.
Some who dealt with Brian during online bookings would say, “He made such a positive contribution to our travel. He has booked our cruises for years and was always upbeat, energetic, accommodating and sincere. His voice was uplifting. It must have indeed been a blessing to know him in person.”
Another customer remembered him, “Brian was my Cruise Planner & telephone pal for many years. He understood my battle with MS & often helped with itineraries that would work for my physical limitations. I just received the word today of his passing and my heart is deeply saddened. When I heard a month ago he had been hospitalized , He was loved by many & my deepest sympathies are extended to his family. The world has lost a cherished human being who exemplified how people should treat each other.”
Brian has been a life-long resident of the Cooper City area. He graduated from Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School in 2003 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Central Florida.
Brian was a Fantasy Football Champ and loved to spend his Sundays with his friends at Miami Dolphins’ games, as well as Miami Heat and Miami Marlins.
