On this day in cruise history: One year ago today, on May 31, 2016, a teenager known as Austin “Stingray” Ray from Pevely, Missouri, who was only 17-years-old, died aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wonder while the family was on a cruise vacation in Alaska.
Disney Wonder departed Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Monday May 23 with calls at Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan before returning to Vancouver.
