Cruise Passengers Shamed By Carnival Cruise Line John Heald

Travel Warning: Passengers are repeatedly left in ports around the world, because they are late, late, late back to the cruise ship. Two passengers were so habitually late, they will likely be late to their own funerals one day.

While the video is amusing, being left in port is not funny and for passengers who actually schedule their port time appropriately, there is nothing funny about waiting to pull out of a scenic port to stage a video and being delayed port after port. The other annoying fact about delays in leaving port, is the legal issue of not being served alcohol while in port, as you wait for others to reboard the ship.

This cruise ship video audio,  is in classic Heald honest, dry, British, comedic style. Posted on April 3, 2014, Cruise Director John Heald’s announcement aboard cruise ship Carnival Breeze in the port of Rome, Italy is recorded by Youtube user Alex & Erika.  The video is labeled, “Idiot Cruise Passengers”.

Michael and Louise Rossi were shamed for being late to the cruise ship in three consecutive ports, Monte Carlo, Florence and Rome, Italy.

John Heald is the senior cruise director of Carnival Cruise Lines and a blogger for the cruise line. He first became a Carnival cruise director in 1990. In 2004, he was named the senior cruise director of Carnival.

Carnival Breeze departed on its inaugural cruise – a 12-day Mediterranean voyage from Venice that arrived in Barcelona June 15, 2012.

Carnival Breeze  visited Dubrovnik, Croatia; Athens, Greece; Izmir, Turkey; Messina (Sicily), Olbia (Sardinia),  Rome (Civitavecchia), and Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy; Monaco, Monte Carlo; and Marseilles, France, along the way.
