Carnival Cruise Lines reports video of passenger deliberately climbing over railing into the sea

Carnival Cruise Lines has said they have security camera video of  Cameron Smook, 21, from Virginia, deliberately climbing over the railing and falling into the sea.

Cameron Smook, 21, from Virginia, went missing aboard Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Glory, Sunday, March 8, 2015 while the cruise ship was on a Caribbean cruise in the Bahamas, near Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas.

Cameron Smook was a Virginia Tech student, a senior majoring in mining and mineral engineering. Smook was scheduled to graduate from Virginia Tech this spring.

According to Carnival Cruise Lines spokesperson, surveillance footage shows Smook deliberately climbing over the cruise ship railing and falling into sea. Carnival Glory searched for Smook and was joined by Carnival Ecstasy and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
